My Journey with CS Insure

Sweetness Ntuka's Story

By Sweetness Ntuka

For more than five years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of CS Debt Counselling, and not a single day goes by without being reminded why I chose this path. When I first stepped into this role, I wasn’t just looking for a career—I was searching for purpose. What I found was a calling rooted in hope, restoration, and second chances.

Every client who walks through our doors brings with them a story. Some carry the weight of debt that has stolen their peace, others carry the silence of shame, and many carry fear about the future. To me, they are never just “cases” or “files”—they are people. People who have dreams, families, responsibilities, and hearts that are often heavy. I consider it a gift to walk beside them, not only as a consultant but as someone who truly cares about their journey.

Debt counselling is more than numbers and repayment plans. It’s about helping people breathe again—financially, emotionally, and even spiritually. I see the stress on clients’ faces soften when they realise they are no longer alone. I hear the relief in their voices when they learn that there is a way forward. And I feel the hope rise in their hearts when they begin to believe that their story isn’t over. That, for me, is why I do what I do.

Every day, I remind myself that our clients are not our cashflows. They are human beings with feelings, fears, and challenges that go beyond financial strain. Some have experienced loss, some are navigating uncertainty, and others are trying to rebuild after setbacks they never saw coming. That’s why I listen carefully, show empathy, and make sure I communicate with honesty and clarity. The principle I live by is found in Luke 6:31: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” It is not just a verse I read—it’s the standard I hold myself to in every interaction.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed lives being transformed. I’ve seen people who once walked in despair reclaim their dignity, peace, and confidence. I’ve celebrated with families who finally found the breathing room to live without constant financial fear. And I’ve watched individuals rise up stronger, more resilient, and ready to build a future filled with hope. These moments are why I love what I do.

This work is not only done with my hands but with my heart. With God’s guidance, I strive to serve every client with integrity, compassion, and faith.

Looking back, these five years have been filled with purpose, challenges, and countless lessons. Looking ahead, I am excited for what is to come—for the lives still to be touched, the stories still to be rewritten, and the hope still to be restored.

Here’s to five years of service, growth, and purpose—and to many more years of walking this meaningful journey alongside those who need it most.
