      • 1 or 1.2: Your meter needs to be recoded.
      • 2 or 2.2: Your meter is already updated, and no further action is required.
  2. Get Your TID Update Key
    • Visit your electricity vendor.
    • Provide your meter details to receive your update key.
  3. Enter the Key into Your Meter
    • Input the new TID update key provided by Eskom or your vendor.
    • Ensure the meter accepts the code and resumes normal functionality.
